29 Nov 08–17 Jan 09 Hansel & Gretel
By Hope Massiah
You think you've got problems! Hansel and Gretel's dad has lost all his money... again. They have had to move to the middle of nowhere, aka, a cottage at the edge of a spooky forest. Their new stepmother, suspicious that Hansel and Gretel will turn criminal any minute, keeps them busy with never-ending chores. As if that isn't bad enough, the forest is also home of the Wicked, Wicked Witch of the Woods who lures wayward kids into her candy-clad cottage.
Will Stepmother learn to hug a hoodie?
Will the family survive the credit crunch?
Will Hansel and Gretel become another sad statistic?
Or will our teenage twosome escape the Witch's evil clutches?
Running from 29th November 2008 - 17th January 2009
